Pengembangan E-Modul Pembelajaran Matematika Berbasis Kearifan Lokal Bugis-Makassar pada Materi Pecahan di SDN 38 Bonto Perak

Abstract

This study aims to develop a mathematics learning e-module based on Bugis-Makassar local wisdom on fractions for elementary school students. The development of this e-module is based on the need for contextual, interesting learning, and able to foster local cultural values ​​in the mathematics learning process. The study uses the Borg & Gall development model which consists of ten stages, including: research and information collection, planning, initial product development, initial field trials, initial product revision, main field trials, operational product revision, operational field trials, final product revision, and product dissemination. The research subjects consisted of 25 fifth-grade students of SDN 38 Bonto Perak, Pangkep Regency, South Sulawesi. Data were collected through observation, interviews, validation questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. Data analysis included validation by material and media experts, user responses, and the results of the e-module effectiveness test on improving learning outcomes. The results showed that the developed e-module met the criteria of being very valid, practical, and effective. Expert validation obtained an average score of 92%, practicality based on teacher and student responses of 90%, and an increase in student learning outcomes (N-Gain) of 0.71, which is considered high. This e-module based on Bugis-Makassar local wisdom is considered capable of connecting mathematical concepts with regional culture, increasing learning motivation, and strengthening students' character values.
